In April 2025, we refreshed the Editorial Board of Advances in Polar Science. We extend our deepest gratitude to all the previous Board Members, especially those who have stepped down from the Board, for their invaluable contributions during their tenure.
Key updates include the appointment of Dr. Ruibo Lei from the Polar Research Institute as Editor-in-Chief, who will collaborate with co-Editor-in-Chief Dr. Yeadong Kim to lead and shape the journal. The renewed board welcomes 34 new members, most of whom are early-career researchers across diverse polar disciplines, expanding to 69 members from 17 countries.
We warmly welcome our new board members and anticipate fruitful collaborations. In this new phase, the Editorial Office and the revitalized Editorial Board reaffirm their commitment to our authors, reviewers and readers. Moving forward, we will enhance our services in a more friendly and efficient way, and create a brighter future of Advances in Polar Science.
