Publications in APS are accepted in five categories:

    ●Opinion Editorials: Provides a forum to comment on the status and/or deficiencies of any aspect of polar science, to reflect on recent innovation or progress, and to promote internationally collaborative polar science projects. Abstract is not required. A maximum of 2000 words and 5 references is suggested.

    ● Reviews: Summarizes representative results and achievements in a particular topic or an area, comments on the current situation, and advice on research directions. Author opinions and related discussions are invited. A maximum of 8000 words and 50 references is suggested.

    ●Articles: Reports important original results in all areas of polar science and represents a completed definitive study. A maximum of 8000 words and 50 references is suggested.

    ●Trends & Letters: Presents new methods, important scientific information and major international programs in all areas of polar science. A maximum of 5000 words (including tables, figures and references) is suggested.

    ● Data Papers: Presents and describes a dataset (or datasets) related to polar science in full, including the collection, processing, structure, quality, and value usage notes of the data.
