Editorial Board

The Editorial Board of Advances in Polar Science consists of two Co-Editors-in-Chief, plus an international team of disciplinary scientific Editors. The Editorial Board, under guidance from the Editors-in-Chief, determines the direction and scope of the journal. Its members advocate for submission of relevant and scientific excellent papers and determine suitable themes for special issues of the journal.
Scientific Editors seek independent, confidential and expert peer reviews of submitted papers, and make even-handed decisions on publication. They work to ensure that all submitted manuscripts are evaluated promptly to meet the journals objective of informing authors of the decision on their manuscript(s) within four weeks of submission.
